Bognor 1961
This is me, and my nearest sister, in Bognor. I'm the little one, and aged four. I don't remember the day, but I do recall that the dresses were mauve and white gingham, and my shoes, my lovely shoes, were pink patent. I cried when I outgrew them. Maybe my love of white doves stems from this occasion?

What happy smiley faces, and I can see why you were proud of your lovely pink shoes. Lovely photo, thank you.
pink patent shoes! How fab.
Lovely smiles.
Is that where the love of doves began?
Gingham - just perfect as is seersucker which I also had dresses made out of. Lovely picture Faith x
Oooh, ooh - we used to go to Bognor when I was little! Remember clearly staying in a little 30s-style hotel which did "high tea" for children and staying up late to watch Miss World on TV. Those were the days!
Sweet pix.
Gosh I remember the good old days, British seaside holidays on the Butlins Bognor Regis holiday park. I remember we used to go there every year without fail, and my Grandad god bless him loved it.
